Odisha FC Dominates Bengaluru FC with a 4-2 Victory in Thrilling League Encounter: Odisha FC dominated the offensive front, leaving Bengaluru FC little room to recover and securing their third consecutive league victory against the Blues at this stadium.

The home team struck early, taking the lead in the 10th minute through a brilliant combination of Isak Vanlalruatfela and Jerry Mawihmingthanga. Isak’s well-timed run into the Bengaluru box set up Jerry perfectly, allowing him to calmly slot the ball into the net.

This opening goal unleashed a relentless wave of Odisha FC attacks. Sergio Lobera’s side continuously tested the Bengaluru defence, creating opportunities through set pieces and corners. In the 27th minute, Mourtada Fall capitalized on one such corner, heading in a precise delivery from Ahmed Jahouh to double their lead.

Odisha’s star striker Diego Mauricio then delivered two sensational solo goals. In the dying moments of the first half, Mauricio received a pass from Jerry Lalrinzuala and dazzled the Bengaluru backline with his skill. Gliding past defenders, he unleashed a powerful right-footed strike from the edge of the box into the bottom-right corner, giving Odisha a commanding lead at halftime.

The second half saw Bengaluru FC fight back, showing glimpses of their attacking prowess. Sunil Chhetri’s 52nd-minute goal—his fifth of the season—off a Ryan Williams cross brought a spark of hope for the visitors. The former Indian captain displayed his experience with a clinical finish.

However, Odisha quickly regained control. In the 60th minute, Mauricio struck again, weaving through Bengaluru’s defence and calmly placing the ball past the goalkeeper, securing his brace and Odisha’s fourth goal of the night.

Bengaluru FC managed to add a late consolation in the 88th minute when Edgar Mendez headed in Roshan Singh’s cross. However, it was too little, too late, as Odisha FC closed out a thrilling contest with a well-deserved victory.
